A Note on Resentment
Resentment means there is an imbalance.
Resentment means your needs are not being met.
If your needs are not being met, what can you do about it?
You can sit there and stew in the resentment, which feels awful and is not good for you or your body…OR you can do something about it.
Resentment is a sign to take action: Speak up, set a boundary, let someone know how you feel, acknowledge and honor your needs, ask for help, use your voice!
Take the action that will resolve the resentment. It can feel so much easier to blame others when we are not taking responsibility for our wants and needs, but you will be amazed at how empowered you feel once you do what needs to be done for yourself.
